Answer from T.J. Miller is open to reprising his 'Deadpool' role after saying he'd never work with Ryan Reynolds again
A1 Digital India News: The actor played Weasel Reynolds alongside Wade Wilson in the first two 'Deadpool' movies, but he won't be back for 'Deadpool and Wolverine.' T.J. Answers. Miller is open to returning to the Deadpool universe with Ryan Reynolds after publicly stating he would never work with the actor again.
While a fourth film in the franchise hasn't been confirmed, a Deadpool and Wolverine sequel seems certain following the film's box office success. And the Silicon Valley alumnus is set to reprise his Weasel character in a second sequel, should it be successful.
"We've been talking for a while," Miller told SiriusXM's The Bonfire about his relationship with Reynolds. "I think he's asked me out, I think he's a really good friend right now and I think he's going to say really, I think it's going to be good."
The actor played Weasel, the best friend of Reynolds' Wade Wilson, in 2016's Deadpool and 2018's Deadpool 2. However, he did not return for Deadpool and Wolverine, starring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
On the Adam Carolla Show podcast in 2022, Miller accused Reynolds of being "terribly mean" to him one day on set. He also called The Proposal actor "an insecure person" at the time, adding, "If they come to me and say 'We want you to make Deadpool 3, and we'll pay double' then they're not making Deadpool.
A few days later, Miller shared with SiriusXM's Jim Norton and Sam Roberts that Reynolds had contacted him and the two had resolved the matter. "It was a misunderstanding," Miller said of their moment on stage. "So I emailed them back, and everything's fine now." Over the years, Miller has also faced a number of legal troubles, including an alleged assault on an Uber driver and an arrest for making a false bomb threat.
