Jennifer Fox produced the Academy of Motion Picture Academy of Motion Picture Governors Awards for the sixth time

A1 Digital India News: Oscar-nominated filmmaker Jennifer Fox will produce the 2024 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards, Academy President Janet Yang announced Wednesday. This will be Fox's sixth time hosting the show, following the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th editions.
Quincy Jones and Juliet Taylor will receive Oscar honors at the 15th Annual Governors Awards, which will take place Sunday, Nov. 17 at Ovation Hollywood in the Ray Dolby Ballroom; Richard Curtis will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award; and Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson and Irving G. She will receive the Thalberg Memorial Award.
"Jennifer is an exemplary producer and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Governors Awards for the sixth time," Yang said in a statement. "She is incredibly talented, and we are looking forward to a fun event." Fox said, "I am thrilled to be producing this special event for the Academy next year. Honoring the careers of such talented individuals and helping kick off Oscar season is a true highlight."
Fox began his career in development and production at Universal Pictures, where he worked on films including Erin Brockovich. He then worked with Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney's production company, Section Eight, starring in Syriana; Good Night, and Good Luck; The Informant!; and spent the next six years working with acclaimed titles such as A Scanner Darkly.
His other film credits include Duplicity; The Bourne Legacy; We Need to Talk About Kevin; Night; Roman J. Theory. Israel, Esq., et al.; Buzzsaw Velvet; The Message; The Ultimate Duel; and the upcoming Dreams Magazine.
