Netflix ends license of Palestinian films, know why

A1 Digital India News: Netflix has recently removed 19 films by or about Palestinians from its controversial streaming platform. Several human rights organizations and the Freedom Forward Coalition have protested the expiration of this three-year content licensing deal and called on Netflix to renew the license. Freedom Forward and other organizations have written an open letter urging Netflix to reinstate these films.

They believe that removing these films is like further marginalizing the Palestinian voice. Netflix said the deal began in October 2021 and is now ending. The company says it will continue to invest in quality films from around the world.
